The end is near for Riverdale. The CW series is preparing for the seventh and final season and as production begins, the title of the final season premiere has been revealed.
Creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed on his Instagram that the season 7 premiere of Riverdale is titled “Chapter One Hundred and Eighteen: Don’t Worry, Darling,” coincidentally around the same time as the film Don’t Worry Darling released. The film takes place in the 1950s and with the upcoming season also taking place in the ’50s following the comet in the season 6 finale, it makes sense.
The premiere episode is written by Augirre-Sacasa and Danielle Iman and directed by Ronald Paul Richard. It isn’t known how many episodes the final season of Riverdale will have, but Aguirre-Sacasa has said that he doesn’t intend to shorten it.
The seventh and final season of Riverdale premieres midseason 2023 on The CW. Check out our other Riverdale coverage here.
