‘Interview with the Vampire’ Heads to PaleyFest With New Panel
As part of this year’s PaleyFest Fall TV Previews, the cast and crew of Interview with the Vampire participated in a panel discussion about the new series! The panelists included Mark Johnson (Executive Producer), Rolin Jones (Creator/Executive Producer), Jacob Anderson (Louis de Pointe du Lac), Sam Reid (Lestat de Lioncourt), Bailey Bass (Claudia) and Eric Bogosian (Daniel Molloy). The discussion was moderated by Dalton Ross, Executive Editor at Large for Entertainment Weekly.
The creative team discussed the pressure of adapting an iconic series for the screen, previewing some changes to the source material while reassuring fans that the heart of the novels will remain. Anderson and Reid delved into how they built the chemistry between their characters and their romance, while Bass explained what drew her to the role of Claudia.
PaleyFest Fall TV Previews began on September 13 exclusively for Paley Center Members and Citi Cardmembers. The panels will be available publicly on September 16 at 10 a.m. EST on Paley Center’s YouTube channel.
