‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ January Release Date Confirmed

Following rumors about a release date switch up for season 2 of Lucasfilm’s animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the news was officially confirmed today during D23 that the premiere has been bumped from this fall to January 4, 2023.

The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch — a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2 is coming exclusively to Disney+ with a two-episode premiere on January 4, 2023. The upcoming season will consist of 16 episodes.
