The Sanderson Sisters Return in ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Trailer
During the D23 Expo, fans got a first full look at the Hocus Pocus sequel releasing at the end of September!
Nearly three decades have passed since the Black Flame Candle was last lit resurrecting the 17th-century Sanderson sisters and now they are looking for revenge. It is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.
Along with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy returning in their respective roles, Doug Jones is reprising his role as Billy. Hocus Pocus 2 also stars Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Lilia Buckingham (Dirt), Belisa Escobedo (American Horror Stories), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Tony Hale (Veep), Sam Richardson (The Tomorrow War), Juju Brener (Vanquish), Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), Taylor Paige Henderson and Nina Kitchen. The film is directed by Anne Fletcher (Dumplin, The Proposal) and written by Jen D’Angelo (Happy Together, Workaholics).
