With less than a week until DC’s Stargirl is back for a third season on The CW, the network has released the synopsis for episode 5, “Frenemies — Chapter Five: The Thief.” In the episode, Courtney continues helping Cameron, Mike and Jakeem have a proposition for Cindy, and Yolanda is lead to a shocking discovery. The episode is directed by Back to the Future star Lea Thompson.
The official synopsis for “Frenemies — Chapter Five: The Thief” reads:
“SECRETS AND LIES — As Courtney (Brec Bassinger) continues to secretly help Cameron (Hunter Sansone), the team notices she’s pulling away from her role as the JSA leader. Mike (Trae Romano) and Jakeem (Alkoya Brunson) approach Cindy (Meg DeLacy) with a proposition. Finally, Yolanda’s (Yvette Monreal) decision to follow her intuition leads her to make a shocking discovery.“
