Cincinnati Comic Expo Announces Don Bies

Another new guest has been added to Cincinnati Comic Expo, and he IS the droid (supervisor) you’re looking for. Don Bies, known for his model and prop work, will be around all weekend long to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

Throughout his career, Bies has worked as a model maker on several movies, including Star Wars: Episode I, Episode V, and Episode VI. He was the droid supervisor and R2-D2 operator for Episode II. His other work can be seen in movies such as Mission Impossible III, Pearl Harbor, and more.

Cincinnati Comic Expo takes place from September 23-25 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Additional guests include Christopher Lloyd, Bonnie Wright, John Noble, Adrienne Barbeau, and more.
