Fox’s upcoming missing person drama Alert has cast Scott Caan as one of show’s leads alongside Dania Ramirez.

According to Variety, Caan join the show as Devon, a smart, fearless man who thrived in the life or death reality of war-torn Iraq until the disappearance of his 11-year-old son brought him rushing back to the States. Six years later, even though his son is still missing, his marriage is over, and his personal life is a complete mess, his ex-wife Nikki (Ramirez) still thinks Devon could do some good. So she askes him to join Philadelphia’s police department as the lead supervisor at the Missing Persons Unit to help find a young kidnap victim.

Alert brings Caan back to the world of broadcast police procedurals for the first time since CBS’s Hawaii Five-O reboot ended in 2020. However, you may recognize him from his roles in films like Ocean’s 11, Into the Blue, Friends With Money, Varsity Blues, or Dallas 362 and The Dog Problem (which he wrote, directed, and starred in).
