The game is afoot as Millie Bobby Brown returns for Enola Holmes 2! Netflix has announced the release date and gave fans their first look at the sequel to the hit movie. The Netflix original film follows Enola Holmes, little sister to the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Based on the popular young adult book series of the same name, it seems the sequel will show Enola attempting to start her own detective agency.
Enola Holmes 2 will take viewers back to Victorian England as we see Enola take on her most dangerous case yet! Brown once again brings her charm to the heroine as the young Holmes tries to escape the shadow of her older brother. Henry Cavill will be joining Millie Bobby Brown in returning for the sequel. Cavill brings the infamous Sherlock Holmes to the screen with a fresh new attitude. Watching Brown and Cavill play the genius siblings is a treat, and fans can’t wait to see what this new film will bring. Most of the time the Holmes siblings can get along, but what will happen when their cases begin to intertwine?
This time around we will see Enola take on a missing person case that will lead her from high society to the town’s more unsavory side. While attempting to discover the whereabouts of the missing person, Enola will come across some new and familiar faces. Other returning cast include Helena Bonham Carter as the mother of the detective siblings, David Thewlis as the cop with questionable intentions, and Louis Partridge as the loveable Tewkesbury.

Returning director Harry Bradbeer wanted this new film to have a more gritty mood while still keeping the same fourth wall-breaking charm of the original. One way the films keep their fresh young vibe is because of Brown. The actress was a key component in bringing the films to Netflix and is returning as a producer on the film. Brown is very invested in the voice behind this film and the message it sends to young women who are looking for strong female characters to be inspired by.
Enola Holmes 2 will be available to stream on Netflix November 4.
