We’re one month out from the new season of Cobra Kai, and Netflix has shared a new round of photos from the upcoming season! The photos showcase much of the returning cast, with a couple of exciting new additions. First, Sean Kanan is the latest Karate Kid alum to return to the franchise. He will reprise his role as Mike Barnes, one of the antagonistic Cobra Kais from The Karate Kid III. Second, Alicia Hannah-Kim joins the show as a new sensei, Kim Da-Eun.

The remainder of the photos see the characters in various situations. They provide a closer look at one of Silver’s newest (and rather swanky) Cobra Kai dojos. It also seems that former Eagle Fang student Devon has joined up with Cobra Kai. On the Miyagi-Do side, Daniel continues to be hard pressed to back down as he builds up his own ranks.

Season 5 will pick up from the fallout of last season’s All Valley Tournament. Terry Silver moves forward with his expansion plans for Cobra Kai, quickly taking over the valley. Despite the terms of the deal, Daniel chooses to push back against Silver. However, with Kreese in jail and Eagle Fang out of commission, Daniel turns to his former nemesis Chozen for help. Meanwhile, Johnny and Robby go on a road trip to find Miguel.

Cobra Kai stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Thomas Ian Griffith, Martin Kove, Tanner Buchanan, Xolo Maridueña, Peyton List, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Courtney Henggeler, and Vanessa Rubio, among others. Yuji Okumoto reprises his role as Chozen.

Cobra Kai season 5 premieres on September 9. Check out the rest of the new photos below:
