‘The Idol’: HBO Releases Teaser Trailer for Upcoming Drama Series Starring Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd

HBO has revealed the teaser trailer for its upcoming drama series starring Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd titled The Idol.

From the twisted minds of Sam Levinson and The Weeknd, the series follows a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult who finds themselves in a complicated relationship with a rising pop idol, all set against the backdrop of the music industry.

The Idol stars Depp, The Weekend, and Troye Sivan. The six-episode first season is to premiere sometime in 2022 on HBO Max.
