As reported by TVLine, Sandra Mae Frank’s Dr. Elizabeth Wilder will be brought up to a series regular for the fifth and final season of the show.
Elizabeth joined New Amsterdam at the start of season four. She was introduced when Max approached her about replacing Helen, who was moving to London. Elizabeth originally declines but does end up being hired as the Chief of Oncology. Since her introduction, Elizabeth has become a staple of the show from her leading the resistance against Veronica to helping her brother with the assistance of her new co-workers at New Amsterdam.
