Chris Pine’s directorial debut Poolman has added two more stars to the mix. Ariana DeBose and Jennifer Jason Leigh are both signed on to star opposite Pine, Danny DeVito, and Annette Bening.

Fresh off West Side Story, Academy Award-winning actress DeBose recently signed on to star in Sony’s Kraven the Hunter with Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Leigh’s recent credits include Hunters, The Woman in the Window, and Lena Dunham’s Sharp Stick.

Plot details are mostly under wraps, but it is said to be a moving tribute to Los Angeles. Along with directing and starring in the film, Pine is also co-writing the script with Ian Gotler. This isn’t Pine’s first jab at writing as he co-wrote an indie comedy project Mantivities. Director Patty Jenkins, whom Pine worked on Wonder Woman and I Am The Night, is attached to produce alongside Stacey Sher (Respect, Django Unchained).

Production on Poolman begins in June in Los Angeles.
