The cast of Rian Johnson’s (Knives Out) upcoming Peacock mystery series Poker Face continues to grow with the addition of The Umbrella Academy star David Castañeda.

In addition to Castañeda, Poker Face is set to star Natasha Lyonne, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Stephanie Hsu. While details about the plot have not yet been revealed, Johnson has described the show as “fun, character driven, case-of-the-week mystery goodness.”

Previously, Lisa Katz, President, Scripted Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, said, “Rian Johnson’s distinct sensibility and talent for telling edge-of-your-seat mysteries is a massive gift for Peacock, and we can’t wait for audiences to delve into each case. Paired with the acting genius of Natasha Lyonne, this series will be entertaining and addictive.

Poker Face is set to be an hour-long series, having received a 10-episode order from Peacock back in March 2021. This news was first reported by Variety.
