More news on the cast for the Walker prequel, Walker: Independence! This time, Katie Findlay has joined the cast, per Deadline.
According to Deadline, Findlay will play “Kate, a burlesque dancer, who is in fact a federal agent, in town to investigate the secret workings of Independence, and she’s got her sharply observant eye on the new sheriff in town.”
Findlay is most known for her roles on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Nancy Drew, and How to Get Away with Murder. Findlay joins the cast alongside Matt Barr, Katherine McNamara, Philemon Chambers, Lawrence Kao, Greg Hovanessian, and Justin Johnson Cortez.
Jared Padalecki, executive producer, and star of Walker, is set to produce the series. Walker‘s showrunner, Anna Fricke, has written the teleplay alongside Walker‘s co-executive producer, Seamus Kevin Fahey. Larry Teng has also been set to executive produce, as well as direct the pilot.
