‘9-1-1: Lone Star’: Angela Bassett Guest Starring in Next Week’s Episode!
9-1-1 fans are getting fed extremely well next week! The FOX first responder drama is finally returning after its winter hiatus, and on top of that, star Angela Bassett is pulling double duty as she’s bringing Sergeant Athena Grant to spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star!
Next week’s episode of Lone Star will include Carlos and Grace dealing with a prank 9-1-1 call that turns fatal. Showrunner Tim Minear told Variety that the two will investigate the call, which was a SWAT-ing, and trace it back to none other than Los Angeles, where we’ll likely see Athena dealing with that aftermath.
This is the first time fans will see Bassett on the spinoff, as last year’s crossover only included Oliver Stark, Ryan Guzman and Aisha Hinds due to COVID restrictions.
