Sebastian Stan Joins Jessica Szohr on ‘Gossip Girl’ Podcast ‘XOXO’
Before he was the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier, Sebastian Stan was Gossip Girl‘s cocky playboy Carter Baizen. Now, a decade later, Stan has joined Jessica Szohr (who portrayed Vanessa Abrams) in the latest episode of her new iHeartRadio Gossip Girl podcast XOXO.
The teen drama series Gossip Girl, which is an adaptation of Cecily von Ziegesar’s novels, ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012. The show followed the wild, dramatic, and sometimes unbelievable events that took place in the lives of a group of upper-class students from Manhattan’s Upper East Side, narrated by the mysterious, omniscient blogger “Gossip Girl.” The show was recently revived with HBO Max’s Gossip Girl series, which takes place years after the original.
XOXO is the ultimate deep dive into the cultural phenomenon known as Gossip Girl. Featuring interviews with the cast and crew, as well as moguls in music, fashion, and entertainment, Szohr brings to life behind-the-scenes stories, on-set memories, New York City, fan-favorite episodes and more. Most of all, the podcast is a walk down memory lane for the cast, crew and fans alike, showing just how Gossip Girl changed their lives and influenced today’s culture — in addition to millions of fans across the world.
“Sebastian Stan, AKA the elusive Carter Baizen stops by to reminisce with Jessica about the ups and downs of auditioning, the romance of New York City, and his incredible career from Winter Soldier to Tommy Lee.“

Beyond the MCU and Gossip Girl, Stan has had an extensive acting career thus far. His latest film, Fresh, is now streaming on Hulu alongside his limited series Pam & Tommy, the final episode of which just premiered today.
