Hulu has announced an official premiere date for Under the Banner of Heaven! The highly anticipated miniseries starring Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones will hit the streamer on April 28 in the U.S. Hulu recently released a teaser trailer for the series.
Under the Banner of Heaven is based on the critically acclaimed true crime book by Jon Krakauer. It follows Pyre (Garfield), a LDS elder forced to confront the uglier side of his faith as he investigates the murder of Brenda (Edgar-Jones). Sam Worthington and Wyatt Russell will also star in the series.
Garfield is currently earning rave reviews (and an Oscar nomination) for his leading role in tick…tick…BOOM! while Edgar-Jones stars opposite Sebastian Stan in the recently released Fresh. Stay tuned for more information as we get it!
