Netflix has offered fans their first glimpse into the much anticipated adaptation of Alice Oseman’s hit webcomic/graphic novel series Heartstopper.

Highly anticipated by Oseman’s many fans, Netflix’s Heartstopper series is set to premiere this spring. While the cast has been actively promoting the show on their social media pages, yesterday marked the first official images to come out of the show and our first official look at the characters fans love. Check them out below:

The Netflix and See-Saw films Hearstopper adaptation features Kit Connor and Joe Locke as the story’s central characters, teenage boys, Nick and Charlie, respectively. The show will follow the boys as they fall in love, become boyfriends, find their way through a new relationship, fight back against mental illness, and much more. With the support of their friends and family, the boys deal with all the typical teenage things and then some, creating one of the best LGBTQ+ stories for teens published in recent years.

Jenny Walser, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Sebastian Croft, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Tobie Donovan, and Rhea Norwood round out the teenage cast for the show. Fisayo Akinade, Chetna Pandya, and Alan Turkington make up the trio of recurring teachers.
