James Bay fans, the news is officially official. Bay recently took to Twitter to announce his third studio album (title still unknown to the public) alongside his new Give Me the Reason tour. Bay has released many singles, collaborations, and EP’s since his second studio album Electric Light (2018). However, fans have been craving (see what I did there) new music — specifically a new album. The time has finally arrived.
At the moment, there is still no projected release date, though the album is currently available for pre-save on Spotify and Apple Music. What sound Bay will take on in this third album remains a mystery, though from the clips he’s been releasing on social media and playing on his most recent New Songs New Stories solo tour, he will be moving away from his pop foray and back towards his distinctive indie sound.
