CBS Studios Announces ‘NCIS: Sydney’ and ‘SEAL Team’ Movie for Paramount+

CBS Studios is expanding the long-running NCIS franchise yet again, as well as military drama SEAL Team to create two new projects for Paramount+!

With the streamer gradually expanding into international properties, CBS Studios is creating NCIS: Sydney for Paramount+ Australia and Network 10. Set for 2023, the series will feature local stories and involve Aussie actors and producers, filming in one of the world’s most scenic harbor cities. NCIS: Los Angeles creator, Shane Brennan, who is Australian, is attached to the upcoming project.

Meanwhile for the U.S., CBS-turned-Paramount+ series SEAL Team is getting an all-new standalone movie from David Boreanaz, Christopher Chulack, and Spencer Hudnut. The news comes after Paramount+ renewed SEAL Team for sixth season following its success on the streamer. There is currently no set release date for the movie.
