It’s official — the first two episodes of iHeartMedia’s New Girl rewatch podcast are here! Welcome to Our Show is hosted by series stars Zooey Deschanel, Hannah Simone, and Lamorne Morris (who portrayed Jess, Cece, and Winston, respectively).
This new weekly podcast takes listeners behind the scenes of Apartment 4D with the crew who called it home for seven incredible seasons. Each week, real-life friends Deschanel, Simone, and Morris will rewatch the show and reveal untold stories. Plus, they’ll be playing a different version of the wonderfully chaotic game True American every week! Here, the rules don’t make any sense, and you’ll leave more confused than when you arrived. Listeners can also look forward to hearing from the loft’s favorite guest stars, writers, and directors as they join in to share their favorite adventures on set.
Welcome to Our Show dropped not one, but two episodes today in celebration of the premiere. In “101: The Pilot“, the crew dissects the pilot episode and discusses which comedies influenced Deschanel to join the show, an iconic Cece moment that was left on the cutting room floor, the show’s working title, and more!
Meanwhile, the other episode features the show’s first special guest, “A Conversation with Director Jake Kasdan.”

New Girl aired from 2011 to 2018, following the story of Jessica Day, a quirky, offbeat teacher who moves into a loft apartment in Los Angeles with three men. The hilarious and heartwarming series also starred Jake Johnson and Max Greenfield.
