My Chemical Romance & Paramore to Headline When We Were Young Festival

Emo, pop punk, and rock fans everywhere had to do a double take today when a festival flyer that looked like it came straight from the forgotten depths of Myspace and LiveJournal surfaced on social media. This October, relive all of your wonderful, youthful, angsty, fun, unbelievable teenage memories in Las Vegas at When We Were Young, a festival that will transport you straight back to the early-mid 2000s.

It comes as no surprise that the ultimate headliners for When We Were Young are none other than My Chemical Romance and Paramore, two staple bands in the aforementioned music scene. But the nostalgia doesn’t stop there; the lineup is jam-packed with so many iconic bands from the past two decades, you’ll get whiplash just trying to pick your way down the flyer.

Other artists on the bill that fans will be able to catch across the festival’s three stages include the likes of Bring Me the Horizon, A Day to Remember, Avril Lavigne, Bright Eyes, Jimmy Eat World, AFI, Alkaline Trio, The Used, Senses Fail, Bayside, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, Saosin, Atreyu, Four Year Strong, Hawthorne Heights, The Wonder Years, Thursday, The Starting Line, Story of the Year, Silverstein, The All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, and many more.

When We Were Young is presented by Live Nation. Presale tickets will go on sale this Friday, January 21 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, and all other tickets will be available as of 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET. Multiple ticket tiers are available, including General Admission, GA+, VIP, and VIP Cabana (must be 21+).

When We Were Young will be held at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 22. Festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Visit the official festival webpage for more information on health and safety, security, ADA access and accommodations, tickets, hotels, and more.
