Details for Apple TV+ ‘The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey’ Released
Apple TV+ has released the first images for it’s upcoming adaption of the acclaimed novel, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey. This six episode series stars legendary actor Samuel. L Jackson, who is executive producing along with the novel’s original author Walter Mosley.
This series tells the story of Ptolemy Grey, a man who is slowly sinking deeper into lonely dementia, forgotten by his family, by his friends, and by even himself. Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn, played by Dominique Fishback. The pair soon learn about a treatment that can restore Ptolemy’s dementia-addled memories. This sets them on a path towards shocking truths about the past, present and future. The series also features Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Walton Goggins, and Omar Miller.
The series is also executive produced by Mosley’s producing partner Diane Houslin, Ramin Bahrani, Eli Selden and David Levine for Anonymous Content, and LaTanya Richardson.
The first two episodes of The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey will be released on Apple TV+ March 11. This will be followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday. Check back for updates as the release date gets closer.
