Stephen Colbert & Friends Crown ‘The Lord of the Rings’ as “The #1 Trilly”

It’s the 20th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring this Sunday, and Middle-earth buff Stephen Colbert has the exclusive reunion.
With the help of Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Hugo Weaving, Andy Serkis, Orlando Bloom, Viggo Mortensen, Method Man, Killer Mike, and Anna Kendrick, Stephen Colbert and Jon Batiste bring the facts with the song “The #1 Trilly.”
One of the most renowned trilogies of all time, The Lord of the Rings won 17 Oscars, and when Colbert says that the trilogy is the greatest of all time, he’s correct. So, he made a song to commemorate.
If you’ve ever hoped to see Hugo Weaving rapping in Elvish, please, enjoy.
If you’re looking for some weekend plans, all of The Lord of the Rings films are currently streaming on HBO Max in both their theatrical and extended versions.
The next journey into Middle-earth will begin next September, as Amazon begins a new era exploring the Second Age of Middle-earth.
