‘Sweet Magnolias’ Season 2 Premiering in February

Grab your closest friends and raise a toast with your margaritas, Netflix has revealed the premiere date for season 2 of Sweet Magnolias!

Based on the best-selling novel series by Sherryl Woods, Sweet Magnolias follows best friends Maddie Townsend (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Helen Decatur (Heather Headley), and Dana Sue Sullivan (Brooke Elliott) as they juggle relationships, family, and their careers in the small Southern town of Serenity.

The synopsis for season 2 is as follows:

“As Season 2 opens, Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue learn who is in the car. But that’s just the first of many surprises that come out of Prom Night — surprises that reshape relationships all over town. Friendships flounder. Old loves end and new loves begin. Long-hidden secrets disrupt jobs, change lives, and shift the balance of power in Serenity. Everyone is affected. But in laughter and in loss, the Sweet Magnolias continue to fight for what is right for themselves and the people they love — even when those efforts come with a high price tag. Will they find there are some problems not even Margarita Night can solve? Come pour it out and find out.”

The cast of Sweet Magnolias also includes Logan Allen (Kyle Townsend), Chris Klein (Bill Townsend), Carson Rowland (Tyler Townsend), Anneliese Judge (Annie Sullivan), Brandon Quinn (Ronnie), Dion Johnstone (Erik Whitley), and Justin Bruening (Cal Maddox).

All season 2 episodes of Sweet Magnolias will premiere on February 4 on Netflix.
