‘Riverdale’: Chris O’Shea Joins Series in a Recurring Role

The CW

When Riverdale comes back in March following tonight’s big 100th episode, the town is going to have one extra resident. YOU star Chris O’Shea is coming to the Town with Pep.

According to Deadline, O’Shea will portray Riverdale’s newest resident, Percival Pickens, in a recurring role, continuing the fine name alliteration many characters have on the series. While there isn’t a Percival Pickens in the Archie Comics series, there is a General Pickens who is part of the town’s local history. It’s possible he could be a descendant from the army general, but it’s hard to tell. Whether or not this Percival will be good or bad news for our beloved Riverdale gang has yet to be seen.

Chris O’Shea recurred as Andrew on the most recent season of Netflix’s YOU, and can also be seen on CBS’ Magnum P.I. and Madam Secretary as well as NBC’s Gone and Freeform’s Baby Daddy.

The 100th episode of Riverdale airs tonight on The CW and the series will return on a new night next year on Sunday, March 6. Check out our other Riverdale coverage here.
