Ben Barnes Christmas Music Is Coming to Town
Being a Ben Barnes fan is the gift that keeps on giving! This year alone has brought us so much. Barnes played the charming villain in Netflix’s Shadow and Bone series, released his own music with his first EP Songs For You, and now we get Christmas music!
Barnes will be one of the many talented artists included on the Christmas album released by Stories, A Very Stories Christmas. Stories is a stripped-down acoustic type band that has a continuous rotating cast of singers and musicians. One look on their Instagram page and you will understand what makes them so popular.
After the success of Barnes’ first EP Songs For You, it is easy to see why Stories reached out to include him. Barnes’ signature sound and amazing vocals match their acoustic sound perfectly. In preparation for the album, Stories has been releasing short videos on their Instagram. In the video of Barnes, we get to hear a beautiful version of “This Christmas” originally recorded by Donny Hathaway. On his personal post, Barnes talks about how “This Christmas” is one of his all time favorites, and who doesn’t love this classic holiday song. Somehow this one song can so easily encapsulate everything we love about the Christmas season in such a soulful way. I personally can’t wait to hear Barnes give it a new life.
A Very Stories Christmas is currently available to pre-save and will be fully available on December 10.
