‘Peacemaker’: HBO Max Releases Trailer for John Cena Led Series

The official Peacemaker trailer has dropped ahead of the series premiere on January 13 on HBO Max.

John Cena is reprising his role as the iconic Peacemaker who made his debut on screen in this year’s Suicide Squad film. The series explores Adrian Chase’s origin story to becoming Peacemaker. Chase is a New York City district attorney seeking justice for his family, tragically killed by mobsters.

Back at DC FanDome, the first look at what’s to come of the long-standing DC character’s story also revealed several new characters. In the full-length trailer, Peacemaker seems at war with himself and his mantra of keeping peace no matter how many men, women, and children have to be killed to make that sacrifice. A new threat also emerges, simply known as the Butterflies.

Peacemaker also stars Economos (Steve Agee), Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), Murn (Chukwudi Iwuji), Adebayo (Danielle Brooks), and Vigilante (Freddie Stroma).
