A little less conversation, a little more action, please. Filmmaker Baz Luhrmann released the first look at the upcoming Elvis biopic starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks!

The brief teaser follows The King in different stages of his career, including his discovery and the “Taking Care of Business” era circa 1969.

The movie will focus on the musician’s rise to fame and becoming a household name “against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and the loss of innocence in America,” per Warner Bros. synopsis.

The film stars Austin Butler as Elvis Presley, Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley, and Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker.

Prepare those peanut butter and banana sandwiches for the film’s release on June 24, 2022.
