Reverb Podcasts’ new production, Black Box, officially premieres today! The exciting new sci-fi podcast follows four teens who discover the wreckage of a time machine. Not only that, they find black box recordings predicting looming disaster. Soon, they meet the inventor of time travel. Together, they work to uncover a sinister plot by a scientist and military general. But will they figure it out before it’s too late?

Black Box features the voice talents of Michael Cimino (Love, Victor), Brec Bassinger (DC’s Stargirl), Jacob Bertrand (Cobra Kai), and Chosen Jacobs (IT) as the teens. Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Joel McHale (Community), and Kelsey Grammer (Frasier) star as the inventor, the scientist, and the general, respectively.

About the podcast, creator Brian Siegele said:

“‘Black Box’ explores the power of friendship and perils of ambition through an unpredictable and fast-paced adventure that will keep listeners glued to their headphones. We want ‘Black Box’ to be a fun and easy-to-follow experience unlike anything podcast fans have heard before.”

Black Box is produced by Siegele and Chase Kinser for Reverb Podcasts. The first two episodes of the series are available now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever podcasts are available. The series consists of eight episodes, releasing weekly every Tuesday. Listen to the trailer below.
