‘The Book of Boba Fett’ First Trailer Released!
The first trailer for the highly-anticipated new Disney+ Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett released this morning!
Announced in the post-credits scene of The Mandalorian season 2 earlier this year, The Book of Boba Fett will see everyone’s favorite bounty hunter take up his old boss’ throne on Tattooine. Fett was a welcome addition back into the Star Wars universe when he returned, and a project focused around the iconic Mandalorian-armored clone is long overdue.
Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) will be joined by another Mandalorian alum, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) as they attempt to transform the crime underworld once ran by the crime lord Jabba the Hutt. And from the trailer, it would seem Boba has a much different tactic in mind to get the treacherous sands of Tattooine under control: respect and cooperation.
Also, it is confirmed that The Book of Boba Fett will be a separate story from Din Djarin and The Mandalorian. Filming of season 3 of The Mandalorian is reportedly underway.
Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson are the executive producers on the series, and Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers. John Bartnicki produces and John Hampian serves as co-producer.
The Book of Boba Fett will release exclusively on Disney+ Wednesday, December 29.
