Disney+’s upcoming National Treasure series has found its lead in Lisette Olivera (Total Eclipse). She will play 20-year-old Jess, a DREAMer seeking answers about her family. Her “brilliant and resourceful mind loves a good mystery,” and she has a knack for puzzle-solving. The show will see her embark on a quest to learn more about the past and find a lost Pan Amercian treasure. Deadline was first to report.

National Treasure sees the return of Jerry Bruckheimer and Jon Turteltaub as executive producers. Cormac and Marianne Wibberley serve as writers and executive producers. The Wibberleys along with Rick Muirragui write the pilot episode. Mira Nair directs. Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed from Jerry Bruckheimer Television also executive produce.

National Treasure‘s first season is set to air 10 episodes on Disney+. Filming is scheduled to begin in early 2022. There’s currently no projected premiere date. Stay tuned for updates on casting, release date, and more. In the meantime, stream both National Treasure movies on Disney+.
