‘The Resident’: Kaley Ronayne Joins in Recurring Role for Season 5

While fans of FOX medical drama The Resident are still feeling the heartbreak over Emily VanCamp’s exit, it looks like Chastain Park Memorial is getting a new doctor with Kaley Ronayne!

According to TVLine, the Gotham alum will be badass ER doctor Cade who is not one to play games. The “action heroine” is a daredevil and a rational problem-solver. Cade will play a big part in the second half of the season. Just like everyone on The Resident, Cade has a mysterious past, and there will likely be more stories to tell surrounding it.

Ronayne can also be seen in The Right Stuff, NYPD Blue, and Army Wives, among others. Catch The Resident on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on FOX! All five seasons are streaming on Hulu.
