Guests Announced for ‘Game of Thrones’ Official Convention, Tickets on Sale Now

Last month, Creation Entertainment announced an exciting new addition to its wide variety of fan conventions — Game of Thrones! This marks the first officially licensed fan convention for the epic fantasy series, and it’s being held in partnership with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment.

The convention, which is due to take place February 18-20, 2022 at the Rio Hotel & Suites Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, has announced its first wave of guests.

Series stars Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne), Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) are all slated to join fans for an unforgettable weekend. The convention will include plenty of activities for attendees to partake in, including talent panels, photo opportunities, cosplay and trivia contests, and shopping for exclusive merchandise on an interactive show floor. A la carte options will also be available, including talent meet and greets, talent autograph sessions, exclusive panels, a dance party hosted by a special guest, DJ Kristian Nairn, and much more.

For those who are ready to start planning a once-in-a-lifetime weekend, select ticket packages are now available for purchase, including the top-tiered Iron Throne Weekend Package and the general admission Raven Weekend Package. Four packages will be offered in total, along with single day admission passes and a la carte add-ons, which will be available for purchase at a later date. Game of Thrones is based on the ongoing book series by author George R. R. Martin. The HBO show, which was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, premiered in 2011 and went on for a total of 8 seasons and 73 episodes. It details the endless, unforgiving, and treacherous battle for the Iron Throne of Westeros, following the exploits of powerful, cunning families and individuals and their malicious enemies. All episodes of Game of Thrones are now streaming on HBO Max.
