Return to Haddonfield in New ‘Halloween Kills’ Featurette
The 2nd Annual BlumFest livestream aired today. And nestled in the livestream among the exciting all-star panels and latest news was a brand new featurette for the upcoming Halloween Kills movie, called “Return to Haddonfield.”
“Return to Haddonfield” showcases some of the stars who will be seen in the upcoming chapter of the Halloween franchise, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Kyle Richards, Nancy Stephens, and Charles Cyphers. And loyal fans will remember that Richards, Stephens, and Cyphers were all in the original 1978 Halloween movie with Curtis.
Halloween Kills picks up right where 2018’s Halloween ended. A synopsis of the horror film is below:
“Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and
granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes.
As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.
Evil dies tonight.”
Halloween Kills was directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Scott Teems, and Danny McBride. Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, and Anthony Michael Hall join the star-studded cast.
Halloween Kills opens in theaters and streams on Peacock on October 15.
