The smash hit novel Red, White & Royal Blue will get a film adaptation! The romantic comedy by Casey McQuiston will be written and directed by Matthew López of Broadway’s The Inheritance. Amazon Studios is backing the project.

Red, White & Royal Blue follows the First Son of the United States and the Prince of England as they embark on a fake PR friendship designed to smooth relations between their countries. They couldn’t be more different and see each other as bitter enemies, but as time goes on, both start to have their minds (and hearts) changed as they get to know each other. Will love conquer all in the end?

There is no release date or casting information yet, but stay tuned for more news as we get it! You can read our Pride article about the novel here.
