The long-awaited third season of You will arrive on Netflix October 15, and ahead of the release Netflix has given audiences a full-length trailer. It should come as no surprise that murderous Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) is having trouble adjusting to life in the suburbs with his equally-murderous partner, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). Check out the official announcement and trailer from Netflix below.

We last saw Joe moving to the suburbs with his newly-wed wife to await the birth of their first child together. The trailer reveals, however, that having someone to love him in return and a child will not cure Joe of his past ways. In the two minute trailer narrated by Joe, we get the sense that suburbia is not heaven for Joe. Married life with a baby is not easy as Joe obsesses over their new neighbor, Natalie.

In addition to the trailer and release date, Netflix also released a synopsis for the third season which reads: “In Season 3, Joe and Love, now married and raising their baby, have moved to the balmy Northern California enclave of Madre Linda, where they’re surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers, and Insta-famous biohackers. Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad but fears Love’s lethal impulsiveness. And then there’s his heart. Could the woman he’s been searching for all this time live right next door? Breaking out of a cage in a basement is one thing. But the prison of a picture-perfect marriage to a woman who’s wise to your tricks? Well, that’ll prove a much more complicated escape.”
