INTERVIEW: Tim Russ Talks About the “Endless” Tuvok Memes [‘Star Trek’ Day EXCLUSIVE]

Star Trek celebrated its 55th birthday last night with a live celebration at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles. The event brought out a huge roster of past, present, and upcoming Trek stars. We had the chance to speak with Star Trek: Voyager‘s Tim Russ! He spoke about not realizing the impact that his character, Tuvok, would have on fans and the Star Trek universe until a few years into filming, being impressed with the amount of Tuvok memes that are still being made, and his hope that the next generation of fans will pay close attention to the stories that Star Trek tells – and the way they might parallel what happens in the real world.
