Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi co-created the series, which follows a group of Indigenous teenagers from Oklahoma as they scheme their way to the land of their dreams: California.

Reservation Dogs is notable for its representation, with an all-Indigenous writing staff and directing team alongside a majority Indigenous cast. It stars D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Devery Jacobs, Paulina Alexis, Lane Factor, Zahn McClarnon, Sarah Podemski, and Dallas Goldtooth.

Season 1 will finish its run on September 20 on Hulu.
