‘Big Shot’: Disney+ Renews Series for a Season 2!
After months in limbo, Disney+ has finally renewed Big Shot for a season 2! Season 1 wrapped up in June, and without spoiling too much, the finale left it pretty open for another season.
Big Shot follows Marvyn Korn, an NCAA basketball coach who finds himself ousted as head coach after he gets in a heated argument. He believes his career is over until he’s presented with an opportunity to coach a girl’s high school basketball team.
At first, he hates the idea of teaching high school, let alone a team of girls. As they begin to work together, the team and Marvyn teach each other some pretty valuable lessons along the way.
Big Shot stars John Stamos as Marvyn, Yvette Nicole Brown as Sherilyn, and Jessalyn Gilsig as Holly. Nell Verlaque, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Cricket Wampler, Tisha Custodio, Monique Green, and Tiane Le also star.
Season 1 of Big Shot is available to stream on Disney+.
