The CW Alumni Nina Dobrev and Chace Crawford Join Forces for ‘Reunion’

We’ve seen Brooke Davis pummel Chuck Bass with her made-of-aluminum crutches in the Chalet Girl’s mountains. Now, another Upper East Sider calls for their former The CW peer in a set for the screen, movie team-up. Golden Boy, perhaps? Variety believes so. 

Alongside Chace Crawford, The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev will leave the fangs on the bedside table for a more run-of-the-mill murder mystery approach in the ensemble comedy Reunion. Its backdrop is a high school reunion party located at a pretty lavish mansion. Jamie Chung, Lil Rel Howery, Billy Magnussen, and Jillian Bell also star.

The Perfect Date’s Chris Nelson is directing with writers Jake Emanuel and Willie Block from The Edge of Sleep penning the script. Production will start this week in Los Angeles.
