Matt Dillon’s ‘El Gran Fellove’ to Screen at Telluride Film Festival & Woodstock Film Festival

After a run at the San Sebastian Film Festival in 2020, Matt Dillon’s feature documentary El Gran Fellove will screen in North America. The film will have its North American premiere at the 48th annual Telluride Film Festival taking place this week from September 2 through September 6. Dillon will also present the new cut of The Outsiders with director Francis Ford Coppola at the festival.

After that, the film will have its east coast premiere at Woodstock Film Festival, which will take place September 29 through October 3.

El Gran Fellove tracks the career of Cuban scat singer and showman Francisco Fellove through a series of interviews, archival photos, and videos, with new footage. It also shows the recording of his last album “Fellove & Joey.”
