For those that are eager and waiting for the third season of The Mandalorian, Lucasfilm has released a little something special to tide the masses over. The highly anticipated special episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, “Making of the Season 2 Finale,” is now streaming on Disney+!
First announced back in July, “Making of the Season 2 Finale” takes a deep dive into what went on behind the scenes to bring this epic, jaw-dropping episode to life. The special focuses on the technology used to recreate Luke Skywalker, delving into the creative process and the immense pressure and responsibility that the task presented.
“Chapter 16: The Rescue” has been lauded for the shocking and unexpected arrival of Luke Skywalker in the episode’s final moments. Wielding his green lightsaber, the Jedi Master arrived to collect Grogu and subsequently stunned audiences across the galaxy in what was one of Lucasfilm’s best-kept secrets ever.
The Mandalorian, which follows the travels of a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin, was recently nominated for 24 Emmy Awards. Don’t miss the ceremony on September 19.
