‘Motherland: Fort Salem’ Renewed for Third and Final Season

It has been announced that the supernatural Freeform series Motherland: Fort Salem has been renewed for a third and final season by the network. The announcement comes just one day before the season 2 finale focusing on the Unit as they battle a deadly attack of Witch Plague at Fort Salem.

“Every time we get to dive back into the world of ‘Motherland: Ford Salem,’ it’s a pleasure and an honor,” said series creator Eliot Laurence. “I can’t wait to bring season three to the world. We plan to ramp up the insane stakes of the finale with an epic, scary, satisfying ride, all the while getting deeper into witch’s ancient origins. We are so grateful to Freeform for the opportunity, and to our fans — your love is palpable, wait till you see what we have in store.”

The renewal will give fans the closure and final season-long arc that too few shows are granted nowadays. We can’t wait to see where a third season will take our favorite witches and what they will be facing as they return to Fort Salem.
