Netflix has announced that its original series Never Have I Ever will return for season 3! The news comes a couple of months after season 2.

The show follows Devi Vishwakumar. She is a first-generation Indian-American. Season 1 introduces Devi after the sudden and unexpected death of her father, Mohan. With the help of her best friends Fabiola and Eleanor, Devi reacclimates to high school. While viewers are privy to her grief, they also see Devi set out to find a boyfriend. When the season ends, Nalini and Devi are at odds; Nalini wants to move to India, and Devi firmly does not. Eventually, they reconcile on the beach, where they spread Mohan’s ashes. Meanwhile, Devi and Ben share a kiss.

Season 2 picked up right where season 1 ends. This season, Devi tries to pick between Paxton and Ben. However, her plan doesn’t go quite as she expected. The season also delves deeper with its subject matter. Devi’s grief becomes more present, as does Nalini’s. Fabiola grapples with feeling lesbian enough for Eve and her friends. Even Paxton faces some self-esteem issues of his own.

Never Have I Ever stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Lee Rodriguez, Ramona Young, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Sendhil Ramamurthy, and John McEnroe. It was created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.
