‘Riverdale’: New Promo Released for Season 5, Episode 12 “Chapter Eighty-Eight: Citizen Lodge”
The CW has released a new promo for next week’s episode of Riverdale, “Chapter Eighty-Eight: Citizen Lodge,” in which we will finally learn the origin story of Hiram Lodge.

The episode looks to be mostly set in the past as Hiram tells Reggie his origin story of how he became the kingpin of Riverdale, as Reggie reflects on his relationship with his own father. Mark Consuelos’ son, Michael Consuelos, returns to play a young Hiram in what is a perfect casting choice.

MICHAEL CONSUELOS GUEST STARS AS YOUNG HIRAM LODGE — Hiram (Mark Consuelos) shares with Reggie (Charles Melton) his origin story and how he went from a young Jaime Luna (guest star Michael Consuelos) to the powerful kingpin of Riverdale. Elsewhere, Reggie reflects on his relationship with his father. James DeWille directed the episode written by Brian E. Paterson (#512). Original airdate 8/18/2021.
