‘The Walking Dead’ Season 11 Trailer Released at Comic-Con@Home

Today during The Walking Dead Comic-Con@Home panel, the official trailer for The Walking Dead season 11 and final season was revealed.

The panel was moderated by Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead) and included chief content officer of The Walking Dead universe Scott M. Gimple and showrunner/executive producer Angela Kang. Members of the cast also made an appearance, including Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Khary Payton, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Eleanor Matsuura, and newcomer Michael James Shaw.

In the lead-up to the second Comic-Con@Home event, AMC has been hosting 11 Weeks of The Walking Dead. Featuring photos, teasers, descriptions, and more, fans got a first look at the season 11 synopsis weeks back.

The new season sees Alexandria in complete disarray from the Whisperers as everyone works to rebuild. As the number of residents increases, they find it hard to nourish all the newcomers. This of course causes tensions to form among the group. They will need to find a way to feed everyone before the community — and everyone in it — collapses for good. Meanwhile, Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko, and Princess are still in holding by the Commonwealth.

The panel also brought news that Laila Robins and Josh Hamilton are joining Morgan Bingham and James Shaw as series regulars.

Season 11 of The Walking Dead premieres on August 22 on AMC. For AMC+ subscribers, they will be viewable one week earlier starting on August 15. Be sure to check out all of our continuing coverage of the show here.
