Batgirl has found its lead! The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Leslie Grace has joined the film as Barbara Gordon, also known as Batgirl. Grace recently made her film debut in In the Heights in the lead role of Nina. Grace is primarily known as a singer and has been nominated for three Latin Grammy Awards.
Batgirl has not set a release date yet, but it will be bowing exclusively on HBO Max. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys for Life) will direct, while Cristina Hodson (Bumblebee, Birds of Prey, The Flash) will pen the script.
