Michaela Coel Joins ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

Variety is reporting that Michaela Coel has joined the cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever!

Sources confirmed to Variety that Coel has joined the production in an undisclosed role. Marvel Studios has not commented on the report.

Coel is best known for creating and starring in I May Destroy You, the critically acclaimed series recently nominated for several Emmy Awards. Coel is also known for acting in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Black Mirror, and more.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is filming now in London, with original director Ryan Coogler back for the sequel. The film will be released on July 8, 2022.
