‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Earns Five Emmy Award Nominations

The 73rd Emmy Awards are almost upon us, and the Television Academy has released the official list of nominees!

Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has received a total of five Emmy nominations, including:

  • Outstanding Guest Actor In A Drama Series – Don Cheadle as Colonel James Rhodes/War Machine
  • Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour) – “One World, One People”
  • Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie
  • Outstanding Stunt Coordination
  • Outstanding Stunt Performance – “Truth”

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier picks up in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, in which Steve Rogers passed on his vibranium shield to Sam Wilson. The show sees Anthony Mackie’s Sam reunite with Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes as the two team up on a high-flying, action-packed global adventure full of a variety of problems, familiar faces, new enemies, and bickering galore. The series also stars Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Carl Lumbly, Erin Kellyman, and more.
